Experienced Landscape Architect – Stuart, FL

Lucido and Associates is growing. We are looking for a creative and passionate landscape architect to become part of the Lucido family and grow with us.

Lucido & Associates, located in downtown Stuart, Florida, is large enough to complete projects on schedule yet small enough to apply our collaborative skill set to each project.

The ideal candidate will be capable of visioning and developing concepts to create innovative designs to meet the clients’ needs. Candidates are expected to have experience managing and working with complex public and private sector projects, and have a full range of project experience from conceptual design through construction administration.

Skills:

  • Lead the development of site plans and mentor staff, especially related to constructability;
  • Prepare planning documents in support of various government applications, with the ability to conduct research on relevant municipal code requirements and standards.
  • Technically proficient with AutoCAD, Land F/X, Adobe Creative Suite and other design software;
  • Adept at creating and/or modifying site plans, planting plans, hardscape plans, prepare presentation graphics and renderings;
  • Able to create theme and design for projects;
  • Experienced with critically reviewing and redline of plans for associate team members to make revisions;
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills;
  • Knowledge of south Florida plant materials, including native, nonnative and prohibited species;
  • Self-motivated individual who exhibits initiative in contributing creative ideas;
  • Manage workload by balancing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Assess site conditions and to verify survey data;

Education Requirements:

Bachelor or Master Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program

Landscape Architect – Stuart, FL

Experience Required: 3-5 Years Experience

Lucido and Associates is seeking an experienced Landscape Architect to join our growing team in Stuart, Florida, a creative designer with proven design intuition, problem-solving, and project management skills. This professional must be capable of visioning, developing, and advancing design concepts to create technically sound, innovative designs for implementation. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture and 3+ years of relevant work experience. The candidate does not need to be a licensed Registered Landscape Architect.

The ideal candidate will have the knowledge and experience to immediately contribute to a number of unique and professionally rewarding projects with an emphasis on Landscape Architecture (both landscape and hardscape design).

Entry Level Landscape Architect – Stuart, FL

Experience Required:  Recent Graduate / 0-3 Years Experience

Lucido & Associates, has an opening for an entry level Landscape Architect.  Lucido & Associates has a diverse portfolio including: master-planned communities, high-end custom golf courses, parks and public spaces, and amenitized residential community design.

We are looking for a team-oriented person with strong organizational skills.  Candidates should be enthusiastic about learning the art of landscape architecture.

Candidate should exhibit strong design skills (technical, hand graphic, and rendering skills), knowledge of master planning, site design, landscape and hardscape design, and construction documentation.  Knowledge of Florida plant material helpful.  Experience with AutoCad required, familiarity with LandFX and Google Sketchup preferred.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to preparation of graphics, computer aided (CAD) drafting, code research and preparation of site plans, and production of landscape construction documents and packages.

Landscape Architecture Internship Opportunities – Stuart, FL

Experience Required:  Major in Landscape Architecture; Experience in CAD and the Adobe Creative Suite is required

Thank you for your interest in Lucido & Associates. Our internship is ideal for students majoring in Landscape Architecture. An internship at Lucido & Associates offers the opportunity to learn and work alongside our dynamic team on a wide-variety of projects.

Intern projects typically involve the development of designs, research and presentations.

The Role of Intern
Interns participate in all aspects of the planning and design process, from review of design documents to site visits, detailed exhibit design, preparation of illustrative plans, renderings, planting plans, product research, municipal code/development regulation research and implementation, landscape installation observation, and meeting participation. Experience in CAD and the Adobe Creative Suite is required. All assignments require effective project management skills.
