Healing Garden
The Healing Garden, in the Scully-Welsh Cancer Center Garden, includes an eight foot long, fully functional, kaleidoscope designed and fabricated and installed at the heart of the Healing Garden. The garden and its interactive sculpture will provide a calming, rejuvenating space for patients and their families. Lucido & Associates provided planning and landscape architecture services for this unique garden and sculpture, overseeing the installation of garden materials.
Chapel Garden
The Alma Lee Loy Chapel Gardens were designed as a legacy to Alma Lee Loy, a longtime community activist and philanthropist. The gardens were designed as a place visitors, patients and caregivers can use as a place of respite, a place to find peace, and as a place for reflection. Native flora and fauna, and indigenous plants and trees were selected in the design of the gardens. Lucido & Associates provided conceptual design services and coordinated the replacement of the existing garden materials with native landscape materials.
